Trying and failing

I've just read post about Active Recall.

I heard of the concept some time ago and I would like to get into a habit of doing such thing. However, time and time again I fail.

My last post was about putting constraints to be more creative. I thought if I put some time constraints on my writing it would help, but I guess time is too scarce of a resource right now. One more intensive day at work or some food poisoning and I wasn't really able to think about writing anything.
